Veterans’ Glory Run

The Glory Run will take place on Monday, October 9 at the conclusion of that day’s trial. This event is open to veteran dogs 10 years and above. The course will consist of two jumps (bars can be removed) and two tunnels. If you prefer, you can even bring your dog onto the course without a performance.

To enter your dog, download and fill out the Glory Run Entry Form and send it to:

or email the form to: beardieboys@att.net.

The BAD Relay!

We know you’ve been waiting for this event! Our traditional relay will take place on Monday, October 9, also after the conclusion of that day’s trial. It will feature lots of tunnels and a jump or two, plus regular and veteran (9+) divisions. Teams will consist of 3 dog/handler pairs, and all dogs must have some exposure to agility (currently training, trialing, or retired). Creative names and costumes for the teams are not only welcome, but encouraged — prizes will be awarded! If you don’t have a team, don’t despair — we’ll make one for you.

Really, how much fun can you have for $5 an entry?! If you want in, start talking with your teammates. Fill out and email the BAD Relay Entry Form to Sheila Franklin at skfranklin1030@gmail.com. You’ll be invoiced for your entry fees after your form is received.

Entry deadline is September 25.

Volunteers needed BADly!

We would LOVE to have you sign up to work a class or two. You can even come volunteer for a short or long while even if you are not entered — it’s the best seat in the house to watch these talented teams do their thing! We have split the classes up so workers will not have to work endlessly. We are HAPPY to teach you to do any job if you like! We PROMISE that nobody will yell at you for making a mistake… oh, and did we mention that we “pay” in homemade cookies? We also have put together a great worker raffle!

BAD Dinner!

Good friends and good food make great memories. Join us for an evening of fun and fellowship on Monday, October 9 at approximately 6 PM. It will be held at Lucky’s Blind Fish, 1723 DeMille Rd., Lapeer, MI. This is about a 5-minute drive from the trial site, and they have a large parking lot. The menu is varied, and hopefully everyone will find something they like! The restaurant is flexible on time so if we finish earlier, they will accommodate us.
